The sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated at the beautiful parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh — a community of faith, warmth, and welcome. It is here that Alyssa will receive her first sacrament and be welcomed formally into the Catholic Church.

Our Catholic faith is not just a tradition we inherited. It is the very foundation of how we see the world, how we love each other, and how we raise our family. It is the thread that binds generations, the light we return to in both joy and hardship, and the source of the deepest peace we have ever known.
When Alyssa entered our lives on March 25th, our hearts were filled with a love we had no words for. And almost immediately, we knew: we want to give her the greatest gift we have. Not a gift we can buy or build, but the gift of faith. The gift of belonging to something much larger than ourselves.
Baptism is where that journey begins. It is the moment water becomes grace, and a little soul is welcomed into the family of God. For us as parents, it is a sacred promise to raise Alyssa in the light of the Gospel, to teach her to love with courage, and to show her, day by day, what it looks like to live a life of faith.
This is our prayer for you, sweet Alyssa. That you grow up knowing you are loved by us, and even more so, loved by God.
The Godparents Have Said Yes 🕊️
And we couldn't be more grateful.
A Sacred and Joyful Day
Alyssa's baptism will be a celebration rooted in faith and surrounded by love. We are keeping this day close to what matters most — the sacrament itself, the prayers, and the people who will gather together to welcome her into the Church.
To everyone who will be there with us, thank you. Your presence means more than we can say.
You Are Not Missing From This Moment
We know that not everyone will be able to make it, and we understand completely. Life does not always make it easy to cross the miles, and we would never want anyone to feel their love is measured by whether they can be in the room.
If you are far away, please know this: you are carried in our hearts every step of the way. We will be thinking of you when Alyssa receives the water and the light. We will hold her close and we will know, in our hearts, that your love is there too.
One day, when she is old enough to understand, we will tell her that her family loved her from every corner of the world, from the very beginning.
That is a beautiful thing to be able to say. 🕊️
More to Come
As we prepare for this beautiful day, more details and announcements will be shared here. Stay close, and thank you for being part of Alyssa's story.
